Transferring to Ivy House

1

Give us a confidential and no obligation telephone call to discuss your options.

2

Come and meet up with us or we could call in to see you in your home.

We pride ourselves on our friendly and relaxed approach in providing excellent support and advice to all our foster carers. Relationships come first at Ivy House and it is a place where we can all grow and develop together. You won’t lose out financially and we welcome everyone as equal members of our team.

Remember...

When transferring, most foster carers continue to care for the children placed with them.

You don’t have to wait for a child to move on to transfer.

Your fostering experience will help to make the assessment process smoother.

Do your homework and compare us with other agencies.

Understand your present support and finance package to help with the transfer.

3

Fill in the application form and go through the condensed assessment process which takes approximately 4 months.
